Girls Infinity Program
Our unique program integrates S.T.E.M. learning and basketball development in a fun, educational and engaging environment where girls will grow their knowldge base and skill sets in all things S.T.E.M. and basketball!
Through a partnership with MLSE, special guest instructors from IBM and Raptors 905 (former WNBA champion and 2x Allstar, Tammy Sutton Brown), these sessions promise an exciting and fun-filled learning and development experience for your daughter.
Sessions: 10 sessions on Sunday evenings
Age group: Grade 2 to 8
Where: York Univeristy - Tait McKenzie Centre
When: April 2nd to June 18th, 2023 (No sessions April 9th or May 21st)
Time: 2:00pm to 4:30pm
S.T.E.M. Learning
S.T.E.M. Learning activities and subjects include: Robotics, Coding, Virtual design, S.T.E.M. challenges and more! We now have Spheros which are spherical progammable robots that teach kids S.T.E.M. concepts through play-based learning and activities, and Cricut, which is a smart cutting machine that kids to design and personalize almost anything!
Basketball
With customized training from introductory to Rep player levels, participants will work to develop fundamental movement skills through basketball play and skills development. There will be numerous opportunities for participants to apply their skills in various game-like scenarios and competitions.
